Can you play a region 2 DVD in the US?
A disc that has been coded as “Region 2” can only be played on equipment manufactured in Europe (which is where Region 2 discs are made). If you live in another part of the world (the United States is an example, which is Region 1), you can’t immediately put your disc in your DVD player and have it play.
